The conference

The second edition of the EMCM-DS conference "Euro-Mediterranean Conference on Materials, Devices and Systems" will take place in

Fez, Morocco from 21 to 23 April 2025

The call for contributions is open!  

5 sessions are planned for the 2025 edition. 

- Opening session with plenary lectures on Artificial Intelligence and Quantum information. 

- 4 thematic sessions covering the themes of materials, electronic devices and systems, as well as renewable energy. 

- Session: "Synthesis and Characterization of Materials" 

- Session " Devices, Sensors and Applications" 

- Session " Materials, Devices and Systems for Renewable Energies" 

- Session “ Design of Circuits and Integrated Systems

Publication

We invite all participants, whatever their form of participation (oral or poster communication), to let us know if they wish to publish the presented works in indexed journals (ongoing discussions with publishers).

Objectives

The EMCM-DS 2025 conference aims to allow researchers from the Euro-Mediterranean area to meet and share their research experiences in materials, devices and electronic systems. The first edition held in 2022 brought together 120 participants and established new south-north collaborations in embedded electronics, sensors, environment and renewable energies,

Organisation

The Euro-Mediterranean conference on materials, components and systems is co-organized by the SIGER laboratory (Intelligent Systems, Georessources and Renewable Energies) of the University Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah de Fès and the French partner laboratories: LTM (Laboratoire des Technologies de la Microélectronique) in Grenoble and Laboratoire Ampère at INSA Lyon.

This second edition of the conference will be hosted in the Sciences et Techniques Faculty of Fez.
